Buying one size larger is best in my opinion
I ordered a large which was advertised as a 10-12, when I got to the checkout it said it was 7/8. I was hoping it would be 12/10 when he got to us but it isn't. However, my daughter is very thin so she worked a day when we needed her. It's good with her red tutu
