These 6" Verde Planet disposable wooden forks are biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly. However, they are not particularly pleasant in the mouth. They are mostly made of wood, which you may have experienced with popsicle sticks. Some handles are slightly rough and the fork part tends to get stuck in the mouth because it's dry and seems to absorb moisture from the mouth.I wouldn't give them to my grandkids because they break fairly easily and the break isn't even but has jagged edges and splinters .Yes they will come in handy when traveling as they can be thrown away and that's better than nothing.However I don't like using them.It's just an eco friendly place to stay.
