Review on Wasserstein Solar Panel with Internal Battery for Blink Outdoor & Blink XT2/XT Camera - 1-Pack, Black: Power and Convenience Combined by Davon Man

Almost too gentle on solar panels

Solar panel works great with Blink XT2. It's very easy to set up. In fact, my only complaint is that the instructions are almost too basic. They literally say "turn on the solar panel to blink" and you kind of have to fiddle around to see if it actually works because there are no lights or lights or anything. If anyone needs more guidance, here's what I did. 1) After setting up the flicker system, according to the instructions, connect the solar panel to the flicker which is still in the flicker chamber using AA batteries. 2) Leave the solar panel and flicker outside. (my back wall) turn as far as possible towards the sun for 2 days. 3) Disconnect the solar panel, remove the AA batteries from the flash, attach the back cover to the camera and reconnect the solar panel. The Blink camera should automatically reconnect to the system within a minute. The Blink camera settings in the app should show that the camera battery is fine, which corresponds to new batteries. The solar panel was on the table outside. I live in Florida so there was probably 4 hours of sunshine both days (heavy rain day and night). Everything works as it should. The most confusing part is that it's literally too easy, and I think a lot of the negative reviews show that simplicity can be frustrating.
