The card I received was labeled Class 4 but was equivalent to a more powerful Class 2 card. I suspect SanDisk just decided to call a card a class 4 card because its sequential write speed exceeds 4 MB/s. My card was sent by BlueProton at the end of December 2010. Here are my results using a USB card reader: ---------------------------------------- - -------------- ----------------CrystalDiskMark 3.0 x64 (C) 2007-2010 hiyohiyo Crystal Dew World :[.]-- - ------------------------------------------------ - ------------- ----* MB/s = 1,000,000 bytes/s [SATA/300 = 300,000,000 bytes/s] Sequential Read: 7.678 MB/s Sequential Write: 5.014 MB/s 512 KB Random Read: 7.470 MB/s 512 KB Random Write: 4.703 MB/s 4 KB Random Read (QD=1): 0.969 MB/s [236.6 IOPS] 4 KB Random Write (QD= 1 ): 2.003 MB/s [489.0 IOPS] 4 KB random read (QD=32): 0.574 MB/s [140.1 IOPS] 4 KB random write (QD=32): 1.746 MB/s [426, 3 IOPS] Test: 100 MB [E: 0.0% (0.0/29.7 GB)] (x5) Date: 2010-12-23 13:48:47 OS: Windows 7 Ultimate Edition [6.1 Build 7600] (x64 )------------------------- ------------------------------------- - ------------- ----------------------------------------- If you have a good fast 32GB microsdhc memory card, look no further e!
