Review on 🐧 Wild Republic Chinstrap Rockhopper Figurines: A Unique Collectible for Wildlife Enthusiasts by Tim Evans

My 2 year old daughter is going through a penguin phase so I was looking for little penguin figures to go with the other Little People and Paw Patrol toys. I will list the pros. and the cons of this penguin set so you know what you're getting when you order it: - PRO: They're the perfect size to play with Little People and Paw Patrol toys (see picture). These penguins fit in Little People's barn and vehicles, as well as in Paw Patrol vehicles. My daughter is playing Penguin Invasion with the 10 new penguins included in this set. - AGAINST: 3 out of 10 penguins have stamps and embossing on their stomachs (see picture). The white embossing of "K&M CE CHINA" doesn't bother me as much as "K&M FCR-2021 HUI ZHOU LOT NO:E4" printed in black ink. PRO: They aren't cartoonish, but represent many different types of penguins. . I also ordered a National Geographic Kids Pre-Read called Hello Penguins! that features different penguins from around the world and these characters are perfect for the book. Some of them swim, some of them sit, these are great educational toys. - CONS: I also have a 13 month old who puts everything in his mouth so I gave these penguins a quick dip in cold soapy water. and the water turned black. I had to rinse them several times to get clear water. This is really concerning considering they are being marketed as 3+ toys. Stamps and embossing aside, I was going to leave them, but washing off the ink bothers me a bit (especially on a 13 month old who still puts everything in her mouth). I'll watch them for a few days and decide if they stay or not.
