Bought to inflate my Intex Challenger kayaks 1. Does about 90% of the job but I still have to use a hand pump to fully inflate the kayak hulls - At least pull the cigarette lighter out of my car. On the other hand, the cord is long enough to be easily dragged between car and boat, and it's pretty quiet. The jury is out on whether it's easier to pump water by hand or use it on a car and carry the dinghy to the water. Can depend on weather and terrain - and how many boats I'm pumping. Inflation time was about the same.
