I bought this unit after reading all the reviews. This is a fantastic camera and GPS. Easy to use and understand, lots of different settings to tweak to your liking, the large screen is easy to see although it does get a little dimmer in bright light and with dark glasses. Touching the screen, then a button, then the route you want to drive instead of the route you are driving and setting the route to that is an example of simplicity. The camera is excellent. No stuttering, crystal clear audio and the ability to save a picture or record a movie at the touch of a button is a great feature as it goes back 2 minutes(?) to save everything up to the current moment. You can remove it from the magnetic window mount, the mount itself is a standard suction cup which is very strong and use it as a recorder or camera for about 15 minutes before the battery runs out. It's easy to download videos or images to your computer or get lifetime map updates using a standard USB cable. I've been using it in my Peterbuilt for a few months now and am very impressed.
