I left the document open on my monitor for 4 hours while walking away. I went back, closed the document and opened the application with a solid black background. Of course, I can make out the ghostly text and numbers of the closed document against the black background. Turning the monitor off and on again doesn't help either. Wow! This is bad! The other problem is that black is gray, you don't get the nice, solid blacks that you get from other comparable monitors. This problem is rather minor, but other monitors are simply better here. If you want a cheap monitor and don't care about those issues, this is the monitor to go for. However, I would like to spend a little more to avoid these two problems.
