Tell me if this has happened to you before: You are the only one in the family who has a special camera (something that is not a smartphone) that makes you a de facto photographer for all opportunities makes . Now your family wants portraits and you are hooked. Being fairly new to flash photography and portrait photography in general, I decided to go for a "cheaper" alternative to Sony's more expensive models that often top everyone's list. I decided I would only use it for this family shoot and that was it. Oh how wrong I was! First, this flash is not cheap. Setup takes very little time, whether you buy the flash separately or with a remote trigger (recommended). This is a quality product. Period.Flash flash photography really takes your skills to the next level, making everything clearer and more professional, even in good natural light. If you buy a remote shutter release, you can even play with the external flash a bit and get amazing effects by underexposing the background and using the flash to properly expose the subject. Your outdoor photos will look like they were taken in the studio! I recommend this device along with the remote shutter release. It won't break the bank, and who knows, maybe it'll help you make some changes as the start of a new side gig?
