I just received the bed today. I bought it for my kitten who adopted us a few years ago. I'm worried he'll stay there in the cold all night. We already had a cat bed for him that he uses day and night but it always seemed so small. Last week it got very cold (to the point where the news channels suggested keeping their pets indoors); Since that's not an option for us I put a fluffy pet blanket on his bed hoping it would help him stay warm - PROBLEM. The blanket was quite large and placing it on the bed made it impossible for him to get comfortable. He was no longer IN the bed but on the top of the bed. I worried about him all night (Yes, I spoil him) :) So, I searched and found this bed. After reading all the positive reviews I took a bite. It was a great price too! I opened the package as soon as I got home, pushed his other bed and put the fluffy duvet on the new one. IT IS PORTABLE! With extra space in stock. I quickly put him back in "his place" on the porch, and seriously, he crawled right in. He's been pinned down for the last hour and a half. As he is quite a large kitten, 14-15 pounds it was difficult to find a large bed for him at a reasonable price. He always seemed uncomfortable and "crushed" in his old bed. Now he has extra space to stretch out. I can definitely recommend this bed. It's soft, warm, cheap and big. So if you have a vigorous kitten that you want to keep warm and comfy this is PERFECT :)
