Review on 🍾 Pack of 100 Straight Corks - 15/16" x 1 3/4" - Ideal for Various Applications by Dawson Schmidt

I am a fairly new winemaker and bought these to use on a new batch of wine I am making. The first corks I bought were eights. Since cleaning and reusing old bottles, I've found that I don't always get a good fit when using aft. It turned out that the size of the neck of the bottle varied slightly. When I needed more, I switched to these nines, which are slightly larger. They're a little heavier in the bottle. I would recommend at least having a manual two-lever capper if you intend to use these caps instead of the plunger type. For me that was a big improvement. I ended up with a much tighter fit despite using all types and shapes of bottles. They made the cork a little more complicated with a double lever hand capper, but nothing special. Decent quality corks for the money and enough for about 5 cases of wine. After sitting these corks in wine for a while, I found that they had stood the test of time as well. They came out easily when uncorked and didn't crumble like some of the other cheaper brands I've bought in the past. I will definitely buy corks of this size and brand again.
