Don't buy junk. eventually it fails. This box is a true studio quality splitter. Since Sunday my Comcast STB HDMI has been split into six parts. Well, actually there are only four possibilities. with that bad boy, and from day one I had 4 perfect HDMI channels. I also use their 2-way splitter in a different setup. From this 1x4 splitter I have one channel going straight to the LG TV, another to the AV receiver (I could explain why if we spent an hour together), a third to the wireless HDMI transmitter to switch on to get to the terrace, and the final HDMI channel goes to the audio de-embedding device, allowing me to capture the Dolby 5.1 broadcast center channel for a dedicated application without using a receiver. Yes, that makes me an AV pervert, but you can still trust my reviews.
