I've had the radio for a few months now and it works very well. I needed something to listen to while working on my computer at home. I mainly listen to AM Sports Radio. AM stations may have poor reception, but this portable RadioShack works very well. I can't say it's perfect because I have to make sure it's in the right position to pick up the station I'm listening to clearly. All of the equipment in my home office generates a lot of electrical noise. However, I can't complain too much. It does the job I wanted. It was definitely good value for what I paid.
