I read the negative reviews but as the positive reviews outweigh the negative I decided to give it a try. I left it for 10 hours, I even tried to knead and knead it. Only about 75% of the topper swelled to full size. All the ends were thin, loose, and curved, even an inch high. The isolated spots were still flat and not swollen, so very uneven. It doesn't fit the bed and is awkwardly shaped, about two inches shorter on all sides of my double bed. It splatters everywhere, little pieces of white foam cover everything in the room, and it looks like I have dandruff on all my clothes! The foam itself is similar to memory foam but nothing special and not the best quality. Next time I will spend more money to get a quality product. I had the same problems as the old one. The topper was still uneven, wrinkled and not fully inflated to the correct height. I had it on my full sized bed (still too small for a mattress although it is a "queen" pad until I found a suitable replacement.***
