Bought this for my 7 year old. I was fed up with cheap kids cameras and wanted something easy to use and durable. This camera is good because it doesn't have a telescopic lens. The faceplate slides left and right to reveal the lens. This helps protect the lens. Also cool is that the camera turns on automatically when you slide the front edge to the open position. All these qualities make it durable enough for a responsible child. My 4 year old started using it too.
