Bought this for my 7 year old. I was fed up with cheap kids cameras and wanted something easy to use and durable. This camera is good because it doesn't have a telescopic lens. The faceplate slides left and right to reveal the lens. This helps protect the lens. Also cool is that the camera turns on automatically when you slide the front edge to the open position. All these qualities make it durable enough for a responsible child. My 4 year old started using it too.

This is a really good camera, small and easy to use. It has many options that I didn't expect from a product at this price point. The videos are of good quality and sound. However, I have found that most of my images are blurry. When I go to my computer and use them as a background I can see the pixels in the images. I haven't found a way to make them look better even when using max resolution. In conclusion, I am satisfied with the camera and its size. This is a great camera at a great price.

10 megapixels, video mode, simple operation, good battery life. Overall excellent value for money. Just don't expect great shots every time! You and the subject will become blurry when there is movement. It takes some shooting practice as the auto framing is a bit slow and it's easy to rush when shooting. I only have 2 complaints about this camera: the charger is bulky, the cable is not needed, it has to be plugged in directly. The other is not fireworks or multiframe settings. The screen of the camera I received was about the same quality as screens from 20 years ago. When adjusting an image or recording a video, the screen quality was very grainy. I think this must be a defect, although the Fuji website states that the vertical lines seen on the screen when viewing brighter objects such as Christmas tree lights are "normal" and not a defect.
