I ordered 3 pieces. The bright yellow one is for my fishing rod carrier and the other two contain collectible posters from events including a memorial concert for late famous relatives, so I need them to protect not only my belongings but also irreplaceable memories. Two have visible tears around the edge of the clear cap on the lid, showing that it doesn't hold up well to knocks and wear, and that's when they're in the box. The good news is that the rest of the subject's body is in good shape. These are small damage spots ranging in size from 0.5 to 2 inches. wide and not split so I plan on continuing to use them as intended but I'm afraid they won't last as long as I'd like, luckily my intended use won't expose them to too much fear of damage so I'm keeping them her, but it was worth the stars, my concern is if the cracks will leak moisture over time or if the cracks will spread enough to cause the part to come loose. I'll try to fix the tear with super glue which tends to melt the material to glue it together, hopefully stop the tear from growing and tape the edge around it, to increase protection against liquid damage. I am concerned that if moisture oozes out of the cracks over time, or if the cracks spread far enough, item will separate.
