This little tape recorder looks a little cheap at first but it worked like magic to accommodate my dad's many tapes to accommodate it. iTunes and bring it into the 21st century. If you have Windows XP or are running an operating system, you will not have "freezing" problems. Even if you haven't updated iTunes to the latest version, your Tape Express should work just fine. Of course I didn't know that and updated my iTunes automatically. That's when my problems came up. I finished recording with Audacity and it was fine as I was almost done.
