I have never had a juicer before so not much to compare it to, but it works great, easy to clean and I am happy with it. I have juiced carrots, apples and celery, that is it. I recommend cutting the carrots and celery into long narrow 1/2" diameter, or smaller, pieces so they go into the auger easily without jamming. I cut the apples using an apple corer and put the sections in lengthwise. If you leave the skins on they can spin around and jam if they go in sideways, so best to carefully put in a piece or 2 at a time lengthwise and they go down even if you leave the skins on. Have only used it 5 times, but so far so good.
