Bluer/darker than expected.
These are perfectly fine for the price but there is a lot more blue/navy print in the print that looks 'black' than I think if you are after a very cool color to go with look for green/blue accents/dark blue black, that's all. Unfortunately, I wanted to use them in warm tones, in the tan range, not blue or navy at all. Also, the zippers don't go all the way to the end of the pillow, so the opening is smaller than you think. 2 feet at each end of the zipper.
