I have a 2019 Chevy Equinox and needed to be able to fit three car seats across the backseat. I have two Diono Radians (1 FF, 1RF) and a Britax BSafe 35, and I can fit them all. The RF Radian is behind the passenger seat and renders the front seat pretty much useless. I’m 5’6” and my knees were almost touching the dashboard. I do not have the angle adjuster for the seat. This isn’t a dealbreaker for us because the Equinox is not our primary vehicle and that RF seat will soon be turned FF. My major complaint, though, is that I have a tall 5 year old, and he has nearly outgrown the seat at the highest position. In our other vehicle we have a Graco 4ever, and he will easily fit in that seat for another year! For the price point of this seat, I was disappointed that it will not last him very long, and I’m not looking forward to having to buy another type of seat soon. Installation was not as bad as the reviews make it sound! At 20 weeks pregnant I was able to easily install the seats by myself, and I’m very confident that they are securely installed. Just watch a quick installation video on YouTube! All in all, if you need three across, these are great seats.
