Review on 🚲 BIRIA White Front Quick Release Bicycle Basket with Removable Wire Mesh - New Design by Amicz Kakaruk

Buy this one! I decided to start cycling again after many years and bought a comfortable beach bike so I could ride upright. The bike needed a basket and I took a closer look. this was the best I found. Similar baskets at WalMart cost twice as much. Installation was easy - the instructions are just an illustration, but you can find out by looking. Unscrew the 4 screws on the bracket and mount the bracket on the steering wheel with the green button facing up and the screw heads forward. The part where the screw heads are located becomes the part where the basket sticks. Once the screws are tightened, slide the basket onto the bracket and slide down to secure. To release, press the green button and slide the basket up to lift it. I can simply remove the basket to take it to the store as a shopping trolley. Very green! Decent size to take a small amount of groceries with you. The coated wire handle has a grip so it doesn't cut my fingers and can be raised and lowered as needed. The basket is made of durable wire and the plastic coating prevents it from getting scratched. The basket just touches the mount, it doesn't move or wobble when I turn or scratch the paint on my shiny new bike. I have foot brakes so I don't know how this would be mounted with handbrakes and cables but I can tell you the mounting bracket only takes up about 2" left and right of the handlebar center and there is space between the basket and the rest of the steering wheel. I'm thinking maybe a previous reviewer who had problems with the eccentric didn't install the bracket properly? I am very happy with this basket.
