The wide-angle face allows you to see most of the area that needs to be seen. I use this mirror as a blind spot detector. Due to the steep curves, it is easy to get involved in an accident. My mom originally wanted him to see the back of her head when her hair is messy or needs a brush. She prefers mirrors with handles. So it was put in the garage. I hate wasting good things. So I redid it. It's wedged between the wall and the anvil now so I don't run over anyone as I retreat behind a bush and wall of trash cans.
