Review on Resin Transparent UV Decoration for Scrapbooking & Stamping: Activated Adhesives for Stunning Projects by Carrie Spencer

I really wanted to like it. I read a lot of positive reviews and had high hopes. However, my experience was blah. I bought a black resin curing lamp and a few molds. I must say that it is NOT necessary to mix the resin, it is very convenient. Pouring resin straight from the bottle into the shaker mold was BEAUTIFUL and EASY. The use of black light causes "hardening" or tempering very quickly. It was easy to get out of shape. My "fights" about this product were: It smelled of gasoline the whole time. I even let the product set for a few days after curing. The product was never "cured". It was always a sticky feeling. I tried black light for a while. Nothing. However, it was very clear. No blisters. Can't tell if it was a bad batch or not. Just disappointed March 20, 2019 This is a product update and rating change from the original rating. My original rating was for 3 stars as you can see from the review above. After my review, the company contacted me to listen to my concerns and help me produce a resin product to my satisfaction. I was very impressed with the numerous communications I received from the company and found that the information provided helped me better understand how the product works and what my expectations should have been. I am used to using the 2 part resin process and have not experienced some of the problems associated with UV resin. As you can see in the picture, I made a shaker (hooray! 😃) using a mold from Revain, a UV lamp (Revain) and UV resin. My shaker worked! Thanks to the company for the excellent open communication and helpfulness.
