Police officer told me they are illegal in New York. Of course he didn't give any code or anything, he just said "that's not what the manufacturer put in there". That's probably the dumbest reason I've ever heard. I showed the video so I want a situation where he could give me a ticket. I can't say anything about the durability, but the brightness doesn't meet my expectations. They don't even seem as bright as standard bulbs, but that's probably due to the placement of the LEDs themselves. On the plus side, people notice them, or at least I can say people notice them more than the standard Bukba. I should mention that I have register installed.
