Review on ๐Ÿฉน Hydro Seal Band-Aid All Purpose, 10 Count (One Size) Each (Pack of 2) by Terry Brendemuehl

These things are amazing.

I discovered these hydrocolloid dressings when they weren't even Band-Aid branded and only sold under the Johnson & Johnson brand in 4" x 4" square sizes (now labeled Extra Large- version available in this product line.) You had to cut them if you needed them smaller or oddly shaped. I was devastated when the product was discontinued and I'm SO glad they're back and now in different shapes and sizes! They're like a thick layer of faux leather that you wear while the original is being repaired. I've used them for scrapes, cuts, minor burns, cracked heels and toes, eczema, pimples and so on. They immediately help to neutralize pain, irritation and itching. They are not very noticeable when applied to the face and are particularly large on large flat areas such as shins, you can leave them on for a couple of weeks without taking any further action (see below). They have some disadvantages: - They are expensive and can get wet, peel off easily and stick around the edges (I use paper tape for sensitive skin or sometimes a classic plaster to cover the edges and replace it when it gets wet). /loose/dirty. It helps a lot.) It can be a bit awkward to keep them secure on your fingers when you use and wash your hands throughout the day; I'm experimenting with covering them with my fingertips. But as long as you can keep them closed and in contact with the wound well enough (or if that fails, replace them frequently), they are invaluable in protecting and healing the wound. I would not recommend them for deep/dirty/punctures. Wounds, large bleeding cuts, known infections or conditions like scabies, and I would hesitate to put them over stitches. If you do a lot of heavy work with your hands, wearing them to work may not be convenient, but they can still come in handy when wearing them at night or on weekends. Seriously, while they're not perfect, they're amazing. Product. I've even tried some similar, more expensive bandages that were sold to professional healthcare providers when they weren't available and they just aren't that good.
