You looked great straight away. They are easy to deploy and install and performed great when they first connected to the network. Charged quickly on an overcast day and as night fell we put them on and they were great for lighting the trails. The extended wire from the solar base to the first lantern is nice and long. We turned them off at the end of the night. The next day we charged it up the same way we had before - no one has physically touched the device since it was powered off. The base was very unstable the next night. We had to move the wire a little to make them light up and they stopped burning. They got lighter for a few minutes, then darker, lighter again, repeating over and over again. One of our kids thought they were possessed and blacked out as she walked past him. I wouldn't ask for a refund but I don't know if I would buy them again. They looked great when lit, but not so great after first use.
