As good as any of my $100 razors.
Shaved with it today after shaving a bit. Great weight and thickness. Couldn't be happier. Very comfortable to shave with a razor for the price. Very surprised. **** UPDATE: **** still valid! This razor is now one of my favorite razors along with 6 other German vintage classics. I'm still shocked at the price of this razor. It's bigger and bulkier than my vintage razors, but honestly its weight makes it easier to shave. You have to sharpen it on a 6 or 8 karat whetstone, then I honed it on a leather belt with chromium oxide honing paste on the leather and then just stopped it on a regular leather belt with no paste or compound. Works perfectly!
