Sak-oney, Sa-coney, Sak-A-Nee - It doesn't matter what, I love these shoes

The reason I first bought these shoes was because they have a Similar style had New Balance 574 at a much lower price. I've tried shoes from Asic's, Brookes, Nike, Adidas, Puma and even the Vibram 5-Fingers. I couldn't find a shoe that didn't relieve my knee pain, toe pain, shin splints, or blisters. I was amazed at how good I felt afterwards. I am a medium stride runner and have found that any "contour" or extra cushioning in the heel, arch or toe area has a negative impact on my running technique. Some studies have shown an increase in runner injuries since the advent of purpose-built running shoes. Every time a new study comes out with this discovery, it prompts a slight resurgence in minimalist/barefoot running. It's been about 6 years since I've been through at least a dozen pairs of these guys. I have about 500 miles on them. Some go much further into retirement after I've run them in the mud or rain. My longest runs have been over 26 miles. I use them on sidewalks, trails and trails and they hold up great. I've never had a single tear on myself or a tear along the seam. I've also used them in 400m and 200m sprints with little damage. They're not as fast as spikes, but they work in a pinch. Ultimately, the Low Pro has the perfect balance of support for my running style. The only drawback are the comments about my "hipster" shoes at competitions and races. I can live with that, especially when they finish behind me. Edit: I added a picture of my current spin. If anyone from Saucony wants to set me up with SWAG I'll do it at the next race!
