Review on Acure Mega Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner Set with Argan Oil and Pumpkin Extract, 12oz each Bottle by Dina Harvey

Foreword: I've been using Clean Cosmetics for a few years, but shampoo/conditioner was one of my latest changes. I say this because I want to start off by saying that my hair has been "detoxified" and used to non-toxic/natural shampoos, hair serums, sprays, etc. I also usually wash my hair every other day and continue to do so with clean shampoos. no problem. My hair is straight, colored, healthy and my scalp is not dry or greasy. I was (and still am) looking for an affordable pure shampoo/conditioner that would 1) clean my hair 2) moisturize it 3) condition it well. After that has been said. Here's what I've experienced with the 3 areas above: 1) Cleans my hair - Minimum. It gets the job done, but for some reason my hair feels a bit greasy by the end of the first day. I mention this because my hair does NOT get greasy easily. In fact, I can't even remember when I had a hair problem like this - no kidding. 2) Keeps them hydrated - sort of. Didn't notice anything significant. My hair tends to be frizzy when it dries and then straightens out when I sleep. However, my hair isn't very silky when I wake up. it still feels a bit dry. 3) The conditions are good - not for me, but yes for children's hair. I still have a hard time combing my hair after the shower, but I use conditioner on my 3 year old and she's instantly silky smooth in the shower when I rinse her out (she has very fine hair). Mine doesn't even remotely feel like it - it's like my hair sucks it right up and it almost disappears. Again, my hair is naturally straight, normal and healthy (says my hairstylist). While I love this brand and enjoy using facial products, this shampoo/conditioner is definitely missing something that will keep me going. for the right product. And yes, it's an Argan Oil Pumpkin Shampoo/Conditioner that smells like ALMOND EXTRACT!
