With the original wired controller, I had issues with the cable getting caught in the armrest of my chair when doing movement actions like lifting the wiimote and nunchaku and then this had to perform lowering. I was afraid the cable would snap in the heat of battle and possibly ruin the Wiimote. So I got this controller reading the reviews, I was a little apprehensive but I have no problem with it. I don't have boxing games, I mainly played Skyward Sword with this one. Love it, connects instantly, is responsive, lightweight and runs on its own batteries. There are problems? Yes, but slightly. The battery cover moves a little, not that it comes off or anything, it just moves a little and you notice that during gameplay. I plan to fix this by putting some tape on the inside for a tighter fit. The only other issue is the Wiimote glove. It doesn't fit, but you can make it look a little weird. You can crop it to fit, but that's not a problem, just an odd little thing. Overall I'd say get this if you play a lot of Wii. And for less than $10, it's worth it.
