This bag is ideal for traveling. I bought a size larger than we need and it's great not only for carrying our furry baby but for sleeping too. There are several ways to open the bag. It was perfect for road trips and overnight stays in new places. We didn't have to use a hard metal box. Personally I would have wished this bag had more pockets but it was shipped quickly and arrived as advertised.
