I bought this camera after returning the Canon PS410. I'm very happy with the camera, but there are a few things that made me give it only 4 stars instead of 5. First understand that I am a Canon camera user, I have T5i, T3i, PS50HS, PS700 and G10. . This is my first Nikon. The picture quality is excellent, the zoom function is good (as is the side button) and the fact that you can move the screen is a plus. There are a few things about the camera that I'm not very happy with, but I'll live with them. First, autofocus is sometimes slow and you can't determine what the camera will focus on, although most of the time it will focus on what you want. It has trouble focusing when the zoom is zoomed in and you're photographing flowers at a distance. It keeps moving in and out of focus for a few seconds before finally locking into place. The camera shoots around 7 fps and records 7, but when you record the screen goes black and you can't see what you're filming. This forced me to move my camera away from the subject I was photographing. If there is a way to fix this I haven't found it yet. You cannot change the viewing time of an image, you either view it or you don't. As a result, image review will be slower when only taking one image at a time, e.g. B. in P mode. However, with those minor flaws, this is a great camera and I love it. Considering the price, zoom, image quality and the many scenes available I think this is a good buy and definitely beats the Canon PS410.
