Easy to assemble although I didn't use the instructions that came with the bedside table. I will mention how I collected at the end of the review. This "mostly" looks very nice and works very well. The problem is that it MUST have 2 other boards (if you look at the photo shown you can see that one back is raised for no particular reason. - There could be 2 about the same size on the sides of the drawer that comes out add to the outside Also the wood is very nice and better than expected and the metal is top notch The screws attach easily enough at the bottom to protect the wood bottom but the drawer must also be wood or have some type of wood ( or even metal) for example on the front instead of folding fabric then there should be covers for the holes which in most cases would face the wall extra screws which is good and I decided to put them under the bottom of the This is a great size for lamb and books, other items below I highly recommend putting something on top of the wood as it will get scratched or damaged by liquid en can. ---------------------------- -------------------- -----------Assembly: I recommend assembling the box first. It's easy enough. Put two screws on the outside and attach one to the handle and twist, then screw in the rest and stick into the base to fix it more tightly. This gives a sense of "completion". Excellent! I then decided to put the screws on a piece of white paper to make sure they were all together and used the right ones. I turned it over and put it on top first. Then I put it on the metal seats, leaving the screws slightly loose. I then placed the "support" portion of the tree (length but lesser width) and while it was loose I then placed the next larger piece on top, loosely reinserting the screws so I could be sure it was secure was right. When screwing in, make sure that the metal ends and the wood are at the same height. So hold the piece of metal so that it is square and properly aligned (perpendicular) to the rest. The same applies to wooden baits. Make sure the metal fasteners are positioned so the slats face each other so the drawer can be placed on top. Make sure the large piece of wood and attached edge holes are positioned correctly so they won't be visible when finished, with the holes on the edge facing the wall and at most the crate. 5 stars for $54.99 and I notice there is a coupon that makes it smaller. I would be willing to pay a lot more for what I called an improvement as it would be a 'holistic' product and not some sort of hybrid of 'cheaper' and better quality wood and metal.
