The Apple charging cable always starts to fall apart at the end where the cable enters the Lightning connector. Combined with the fact that the charging cable that comes with the iPhone is so short that it is only suitable for charging the phone when you are not using it. The six foot cable that came with my iPad Pro was also finally starting to wear out, so I bought these replacement parts for my phone and iPad. They are definitely durable. I had no trouble getting them apart and the connections are good. I've tried some cheap cables and some of them just let the phone or iPad keep connecting and disconnecting. They work the same as the Apple version and their length allows you to keep working while charging etc.
