Excellent sound quality

I bought two pairs of these surround headphones for my living room. I have my own home cinema, but of course we use the living room the most. When the house was built, the speaker wires were already in the ceilings, not the walls. The holes were about 20 inches from the wall. Not wanting to run cables to the walls or mount the speakers on the ceiling, I went the in-ceiling route. I was able to snag them on sale for $99 a pair. If you can wait, wait for the price to drop, which is common. Installation was easy and mounted very securely. The supplied cutting template is very durable and makes it easier to trace the hole. Our 2nd floor is above the ceiling I installed it in so there was no way to see where the joists were. I used a thin knife and made 90 degree holes around the template to make sure it was clean. The tabs snap securely into place and the grille is magnetic and snaps flush to the ceiling. Overall, the speaker makes a very well-made impression. The tie rods are compression springs, which I like. They keep cables secure and make installation easier. The tweeter can also be rotated 15 degrees in either direction. I'm not sure how much it will affect the acoustics, but it's nice. The sound quality exceeded all my expectations. The range is wide and full, with good highs and lows and a smooth transition. I turned off my subwoofer to see how the bass sounded with Bob Marley and it sounded great. Of course, a subwoofer is still recommended for home theater, but if you only need it for music, you may not need a subwoofer.
