Review on Retro Bladeless Desk Fan: Personal, Powerful, Quiet Table Fans for Home Office, Bedroom, Bedside - 3 Speeds! by Renee Sagdalen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This thing is a powerhouse!

I took a bit of a risk with the purchase because there were actually no reviews except one. I'm so glad I did. My old fan was ancient and I found it in my desk when I first walked into the office a year ago. It was decent, but the top speed didn't really get the air I needed to cool off because I usually run pretty hot and the ladies in my office like the warmer side. At one point I decided I was fed up with this crap and thought about getting a desktop air conditioner. Well, nothing promising could be found. Everyone on Revain has terrible reviews. So I figured a fan would do because the new one would blow harder than the one I had. Show that this product appears in my search results. The description seemed promising. I mean two fans in one block, how can that be a disadvantage? The price was exactly what I was willing to pay. The style is classy and doesn't look obnoxious like a medical device or cheap item on my desk, so I don't have to worry about someone seeing it and thinking badly about my decor choice. And here's the fan itself. Stage 1 blows harder than my old fan's max speed. Speed 2 is perfect when I'm getting a little hot. And at level 3 it really feels like I'm sitting in front of the air conditioner. When my face is on fire and my forehead is sweaty, this thing dries me out and cools me down very quickly. I found myself trying to rush meetings so I could sit in front of him again. Wonderful. I hope this company gets more attention on Amazon because it's a really great product and I almost didn't buy it due to the lack of reviews. As mentioned in the previous review, it doesn't tip up much. I do have it on my desk though, and as long as I'm under 6ft this thing is the perfect height. When I pointed it all the way up and blew in my face it got a bit annoying as I have long hair and after taking notes from my wall (3ft from where the fan sits) it kept blowing ). Actually, mine points down a bit so it hits my shoulders and then explodes right in my face. Ideal. Love it. I will update after a few months of use to comment on durability! EDIT 5/14/2020: This thing still works and still blows like an air conditioner on the highest settings. One day it started making a rattling noise. Turns out he sucked one of my long hairs into one of the compartments. I turned it off and pulled my hair out and it went great again. I am very impressed with the durability of this item and a little sad that it says "currently unavailable" when I went back to buy another for my SO whose boss refuses to turn on the AC and insists that all windows are closed. .
