Looks like real candles - and comes with a remote control!
Just received today, just inserted the batteries and started. These lights are very good. The birch effect comes out very well when they are lit. Even from a short distance you cannot tell that these are not real candles! The flickering is fairly realistic, as is the overall glow. The light is a little more yellow than some of the other flickering LED candles I have but they give off a very nice warm glow. The remote control is handy - not only can you turn it on and off, but you can also adjust the brightness, turn flicker on and off, and set the auto-off timer. I would buy them again.
