I really wanted a 'BAR' task light but couldn't justify $120 on a branded offering. I found this product that gives me the lighting options and work station covers I wanted at a fraction of the price. A recurring issue in reviews was that the spring tension was too high in weight, causing the lamp to not tilt properly. front and I found it true. However, I solved this by putting a AAAA battery in between and that fixed the problem. See photo. Others have also mentioned that it doesn't work with a curved monitor. I have a 32" Philips curved monitor and I have no problems with it. See photo. I've had it for 4 months now with no problems. I would recommend this BAR lamp.
