Bought for home use especially the guest bathroom. They are as described and all wax. They looked a bit "too perfect" to me, so each one was modified a bit to look like real candles. The process was very easy. Use a fireplace lighter to melt the wax here and there for effect. The char forms fairly quickly, so wipe it off regularly with a paper towel. Just the melted wax is enough for it to flow slightly down the sides and encircle the perimeter of the top of the candle. Obviously, this activity is for adults only and only with a plethora of precautions. Tried a conical candle but too much carbon formed and the wax got too hot too quickly. Remote control with 8 hour timer activates all 6 candles. Good buy. A semblance of a real looking yellowish color.
