So if you select "2 hours" they will stay on for 2 hours, then turn off for 22 hours and then turn on for 2 hours on a normal cycle. So you have to turn them off or they will keep running forever. Bought for home use especially the guest bathroom. They are as described and all wax. They looked a bit "too perfect" to me, so each one was modified a bit to look like real candles. The process was very easy. Use a fireplace lighter to melt the wax here and there for effect. The char forms fairly quickly, so wipe it off regularly with a paper towel.
