Review on Vera Bradley Tote Stone Straw by Brianna Kamp

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty but no zipper, no button, trimmed with cheap faux leather

Pretty and I like the look - the turtle isn't painted, it's woven into the straw like embroidery. It's a 3 because overall it's not what I expect from a Vera Bradley bag. I love Vera Bradley and have several favorite bags. This has a PVC surface (artificial leather). Obviously this is fake and not very well designed. There is no way to attach the bag to the top. With a wallet organizer, it opens easily. But it fits nicely in a large wallet organizer as far as it goes. One fits perfectly in the base. On the inside, it doesn't have the bulky pockets found in most Vera Bradley bags. It has a nice inner fabric but only one large zip pocket on one side. Also, it has a tiny metal pull which is too small for convenient use and has no hole in it, so you can tie any fabric or anything to make it easier. The straw is resilient and durable, and this piece is beautiful. It could be a really great bag if it was thought out and worked out down to the smallest detail. I attached velcro to the top of mine so I can keep it closed at the top. It's not safe at all. No zipper, no buttons.
