I've been an avid gamer for 10 years and have tried many headsets from generics to razors. They arrived quickly and look very well built. I like the fiber optic cable, although we had to use a splitter to get the mic and headphones to work. The lights are pretty smooth. The sound is excellent - good resonance and high, clear volume. Better than any other headset I've had except the Razor. The earbuds themselves are VERY comfortable and fit my head perfectly (I'm a woman so that might make a difference). According to my husband and teammates, the mic is clean and free of static electricity. The only thing I don't like is that there is always a slight hiss in the headphones. I reconnected another headset to test - you hear nothing when nothing is on (music, game, etc.) and there is no sound with the old headset. But with this constant light crackling. When my game volume is low, I can still hear it even with other ambient sounds turned on. The crackle is the reason I gave it 4 stars. Discussed only put 3, and everything else 5 (comfort, design, sound, microphone).
