Great fan. It feels well built, moves air efficiently and isn't overly noisy. But the reason for my purchase is of course the integration with Alexa. I was able to control my existing tower fan with a combination of a smart plug and an IR emitter configured to send appropriate remote control commands to the fan. This hacky approach worked pretty well, but sometimes the fan didn't "see" the IR commands and it was impractical to change the speed (to get it to work you had to tell the IR emitter that the fan was on TV is, so I could say "volume up" to toggle between fan speeds). The Alexa integration works great on this new fan. It's set to turn on automatically in the morning when I enter the room and turn off at night when I leave, and it's easy to increase or decrease the fan speed as needed during the day.
