I just installed it in my home office and that's what I think. I use it to mount my 49 inch (33lb) Samsung CRG9 to my desk. Maximum weight this arm will support I have several other monitor mounts but none of them are heavy duty so I'm writing this with their characteristics in mind. First, for the money, this is a pretty good mount. I received the white model and it's surprisingly attractive and clean. The only downside to the aesthetic design is the prominent bright yellow branding, although it's not that distracting when I put it on my desk. The base of the monitor is static, sans joint that articulates it around the terrain. All my other monitor arms have this feature. I don't use it often so don't expect to miss it. When mounting the bracket, you have the option of mounting it in one of four directions. That's a degree of flexibility, but it won't be easy to change once you've got a monster monitor installed. Plan accordingly. I didn't have to adjust the gas spring; It holds my monitor with ease and I can move my shoulder in almost any direction. Movement is smooth and fluid, with almost no "stickiness" that I've experienced with other monitor arms. The main function of the hand is above average. I haven't tried using the cabling, mainly because the cabling on the other monitor arms I have is junk all over the place, so I'm not even trying. I can in the near future and will update when I do. The biggest design flaw, which I'm still struggling with a few hours later, is the tilt feature (which is another area I struggled with). other monitor mounts). Despite being rated at 33 pounds, it has serious problems holding the monitor. It randomly crashes every few minutes and completely lowers the screen. I don't find the "long drawn out" mechanism, the large handle difficult to turn, to be very good. I even went so far as to get some channel locking pliers to tighten the knob as tight as possible. It still failed. I ended up attaching some spare zip ties that I needed to keep at the right angle by threading them through the back of my monitor and the monitor arm. It's not ideal as it prevents me from using the tilt feature, but it works. Overall for a seventy this is a good buy if you can live with the limitations and find a way to overcome the tilting issue. 4/5 stars: -0.5 for non-articulating base, -0.5 for assembly and instructions (not very clear), -2 for tilt issues, but +2 for the price of a heavy-duty arm.
