Made in China, this hat runs large!It came wrapped in plastic and in it's own box to keep it from being smashed.I chose the medium and to give them credit they do say it should fit from hat size 7 to 7 3/8 which is a big range for a hat. It didn't fit my head but my husband's big ole 7 3/4 head fit in it just perfectly.It wasn't until after he absconded with the hat that I realized that it has a drawstring in the sweatband to pull up and tie for the smaller head size. Bummer! He's already loving the hat so getting it away from him now isn't going to happen.That said, it's a really nice hat!The listing says 100% wool and it does feel and look like that is true. I don't see any shininess showing through. It is nice and soft to the touch and warm during these cooler months.It has a grosgrain ribbon band around the hat with a bow in the older style and then there is a set of feathers (in a separate envelope to keep them from being smashed in transit) that can be tucked into the band. My hubbs decided to add the feather accessory and it looks great! Keeps it from being too stuffy and adds an extra flare!He has gotten many compliments on it each time he has worn it and I have to admit that he does look good in it. Shhhh.don't tell him I said that. I'm still trying to get it back! ;)Nice hat, excellent pricing.Recommend!
