I am 6'1" and I touch the tent with both head and feet. The specified size is 83", I don't believe it. 1st night I tried the tent it did not rain but I got surprisingly wet anyway, from dew touching the tent walls. You are probably already aware that anything touching a tent wall will allow rain leakage. Both my head and feet were uncomfortably wet just from the dew because both head and feet touched the tent.By the way, my usual tent is an inexpensive square tent and on a rainy night I make sure to position myself a bit diagonal so nothing touches the tent walls. The weight of my inexpensive tent is 3 pounds 9 ounces. The weight of this new tent is 3 pounds 4 ounces. You might be happier with an inexpensive tent, the weight is about the same, price is a bit lower.
