Great backpacking tent

I was a little bit skeptical about this tent given the price and that most lightweight backpacking tents cost way more than this. However I am very pleasantly surprised. This tent is great. One of the first things I did was spray it with a silicon waterproof spray. As you can see in some of the photos the spray did leave some streaks. I figured I would show that part. No one else really noticed the streaks though, so they aren't as noticeable as I thought they were. I'm in Southern California…

Great for summer camping

I bought this tent for a weekend summer camping trip and it was perfect. It was easy to put together and spacious for 1 person and all my belongings. Because my tent was only $25 I warned my friends that no one may want to plan on sleeping in my tent because I might accidentally tear it when I was setting it up, but that didn’t happen and I just got a great tent all to myself. If you’re looking for a summer tent that won’t make you spend a small fortune to live like you are homeless, this is a…

I bought a tent for my opinion

Okay I read the reviews and knew this was a 50-50 bet on whether or not it would work out. Cost point is very low and they pretty much guarantee every defect.so why not?It is as light weight as suggested and will work well for backpacking, but I had to set it up first.Once in the garage I opened it and set everything out. A basic set up. But the metal tips of the fiberglass poles are shape and you have to pay attention to how you push the tips through the fabric openings. Yes, I ripped one. My…

Pros
  • Rain Fly Vented Roof, Two Durable Glass-fiber Poles (6.9mm Dia.),4 Metal Stakes, 1 storage bag
Cons
  • May not be as water-resistant as advertised

Don't buy if you are 6' tall or taller

I am 6'1" and I touch the tent with both head and feet. The specified size is 83", I don't believe it. 1st night I tried the tent it did not rain but I got surprisingly wet anyway, from dew touching the tent walls. You are probably already aware that anything touching a tent wall will allow rain leakage. Both my head and feet were uncomfortably wet just from the dew because both head and feet touched the tent.By the way, my usual tent is an inexpensive square tent and on a rainy night I make…

Pros
  • Fantastic price on a super light tent. Quite pleased.
Cons
  • Want it for when I get a friend to stay over at my cabin very cheap made plastic is thin and cheap

Good for indoor: my feedback

Nice size for 2 adults OR a few kids. I use it indoors for kids fun time. Material is thin but no rips so far. Very light to carry and doesn’t take up space when packed. Set up was easy. Roll it out, assemble two poles and insert them, the rest is easy. This can be used out door but I would recommend a very very smooth floor and during a time where you are comfortable with outdoor weather. I have not tested if this can repel water but you’re more than welcome to try and let us know in the…

Pros
  • ‎31.76 Square Feet
Cons
  • Limited storage space for personal belongings

This tent is awesome for a light weight and light water proof product. We are in the south and I got this tent because I needed something for my 2 one yr old boys because they are into everything! I plan on. Using this inside and outdoors but not over night of course. I put plastic balls for a ball pit in it and they are loving it. This tent was cheaper than most 'toddler tents' sold on here and it actually zips up and keeps these 2 contained when I am doing stuff outside. Keeps my twins safe…

this is NOT and i repeat NOT a two person tent!

Ordered this tent recently due to having one i use for my overnight trips to race tracks. my current tent is tiny barely a one person so i wanted something bigger to have more room to sleep and change etc. without being crammed. Found this dandy and saw reviews saying "2 maybe even 3 people can fit" i unpacked it only to find that it is no bigger than a small 1 person tent. I am not a big person im 5'11" and i cant lay down in it without my feet pushing against the wall. Im sure it could fit…

GREAT FREAKIN TENT FOR MILD CLIMATE BACKPACKING

This was the best tent for backpacking in a mild climate. So light. So easy to set up. Well made. Can’t believe I got it for such a good price. ROOMY TOO! Two people and a large dog slept comfortably in it.I love that the manufacturer even left room so when a normal person folds the tent back up you can actually fit it in the pouch. I hate when tent bags are too small and it’s impossible to get the tent bag in the bag.COULDNT RECOMMEND ENOUGH.

Pros
  • If you have any quality issue or you are not completely satisfied with this tent, please feel free to contact us. We are always available to help
Cons
  • Extra care needs to be taken when packing to avoid damaging tent poles

Light and compact for a great price

To find a backpacking tent this light you have to spend a lot or take a chance on a brand you don't know.I took this on a 3 night backpacking trip and was very pleased. It is tight for two, perfect for one with pack. Packed it is shorter than other low-end lightweight dome tents. It is easy to set up. The fabric is light, so I have no doubt that you could easily puncture the sleeves with the poles if you weren't careful. Like all tents, you can easily catch the lining in the zipper if you…

Awesome Tent good for me

This tent is awesome and not just for a $30 tent, the fabric is thick and feels really nice. It is water resistant to the water hose lol, the bottom seems to have a think layer of the water proof coating so that’s good as well. The tent is a little heavier than my hammock tent I usually take backpacking but not by much and it fits two people! The rain fly is the smallest and easiest rain fly I’ve ever put on. I really like how the whole door is netting.

Pros
  • Allows for privacy when camping in public areas
Cons
  • Not suitable for camping on hard, rocky terrain

Great little tent good for me

Great little tent for the price. Very light weight and easily fit into my backpack. Fit 2 adults comfortably inside. Blocked the wind just fine. Was not waterproof tho

Cons
  • Not ideal for backpackers who need to save weight

Easy to use. in my review

I love this tent. Tent stakes may not hold up in rocky or hard ground. I used in back of my pick up truck, fit perfect.the only thing I will it had was pockets for phoe.

Worth far more than I paid

Slight leak, after hours in a very long and harsh thunderstorm. Far better tent than I expected. Kept the rain off, and the bugs out in the swamps of Arkansas, when I put it together at well past midnight in no time at all. Very pleased.

Pros
  • Easy to set up and dismantle
Cons
  • Straps for the carry bag may not be very durable

Great for backpacking!

I bought this exclusively for backpacking. It’s compact and weighs in around 3lbs. It seems mostly durable and is pretty simple to assemble. There’s no water resistance to it, so I had to buy a $5 can of waterproofing spray to apply before the trip took place, but that was worth it and proved effective. This tent is great for a single adult to use, leaving plenty of room for a bag of clean clothes and toiletries to accompany me with a sleeping pad, sleeping bag, and inflatable pillow. I’d buy…

Pros
  • Perfect for couples or friends camping adventures
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with a fear of bugs or spiders

PERFECT tent (after waterproofing)!

I recently took a 2 week road trip from Tennessee to Nevada, and spent the majority of my nights camping. This tent held up AMAZINGLY; for the price, I was shocked by its durability. It is very compact and lightweight when packed, and surprisingly roomy. I’m only 5’1”, but I never felt cramped and had plenty of room, even with my dog, her bed, and all of my gear. There aren’t any compartments or pockets on the inside, but there is a hook on the ceiling of the tent that you could hang a…

Pros
  • Waterproof bottom provides added protection from wet ground
Cons
  • May not be very breathable in warmer temperatures

Good tent for the price

I'm impressed that it didn't break considering the price. I didn't expect it, but it's a good tent! Very simple to assemble and doesn't take up too much space.

Pros
  • Suitable for backpacking trips
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with a larger build

Fits in back of Colorado

Bought the tent for weekend dirt bike trips. Works perfectly, with the opening over tailgate easy in and out after long rides. Don't know about waterproof, because I put a10x10 canopy over bed and tent. Assembly is a breeze and am set up before buddies even started to unload.

Pros
  • ‎5000
Cons
  • Durability concerns with prolonged use

no frills but works great for dry weather

No frills but great ultralight performance for the price. Was not expecting much for such a low price and only hoping for it to survive a couple backpacking trips while saving up for something better. Half a summer and several mountain tops later its still holding up very well. I only took off one star because it is not waterproof and can not within much wind. But if you know your trip has good weather(no wind or rain) why would you want to spend 5 to 10 times more for a heavier tent at REI…

Pros
  • Mesh windows provide great ventilation
Cons
  • Not suitable for camping with children

Awesome for the money

I bought this for my autistic 6 year old son. Just so he could have somewhere to go when he needs to calm down. Worth. Every. Penny. It’s by no means a heavy duty tent. I’m not sure that the fabric would stand up to the elements very well. It feels very thin. Almost fragile. Being that we’re using it inside though, it’s been wonderful for us.

Pros
  • Compact size makes it easy to fit into a backpack
Cons
  • Additional gear may be required for camping in colder temperatures

Perfect for Basement camp night

Inexpensive tent. Easy to set up. It was perfect for camping in the basement with my kid. Long enough for me to stretch out. (I’m 5’9.)

Pros
  • ‎3.1 Pounds
Cons
  • Limited headroom for taller campers
