I bought this exclusively for backpacking. It’s compact and weighs in around 3lbs. It seems mostly durable and is pretty simple to assemble. There’s no water resistance to it, so I had to buy a $5 can of waterproofing spray to apply before the trip took place, but that was worth it and proved effective. This tent is great for a single adult to use, leaving plenty of room for a bag of clean clothes and toiletries to accompany me with a sleeping pad, sleeping bag, and inflatable pillow. I’d buy this again!
