No frills but great ultralight performance for the price. Was not expecting much for such a low price and only hoping for it to survive a couple backpacking trips while saving up for something better. Half a summer and several mountain tops later its still holding up very well. I only took off one star because it is not waterproof and can not within much wind. But if you know your trip has good weather(no wind or rain) why would you want to spend 5 to 10 times more for a heavier tent at REI? 3lbs and easily fits INSIDE a 55L backpack! Perfect for summer hiking / backpacking especially when trekking up into the mountains and you need to keep your full kit as light as possible and you want a dome style tent.
